Both teams to score today: GG and NG tips the model stands behind
TipsQuant editorial team · Updated
Both teams to score, or GG as most readers in Nairobi and Lagos call it, is the market that asks the simplest question: will each side find the net? This page lists the matches where the model is confident enough to answer, yes or no, for today and for tomorrow. Each tip carries its probability and fair odds, and the lists rebuild themselves every morning and again during the day, so the prose here is written to be true whatever the fixtures happen to be.
No matches meet our criteria for this day yet. The list refreshes every morning and again before kick-off.
What makes a GG match
The model does not look at a team's "BTTS form" as a streak. It looks at how good each attack is against each defence, and lets the probability of both scoring fall out of the full set of scorelines. A fixture where both sides have strong attacks and loose defences pushes the yes probability up. A fixture where one side is far stronger than the other often pulls it down, because the weaker team's chance of scoring at all is small even if the match has four goals in it.
The no side of the market is just as useful and often better priced. When a cautious home side meets a visitor that creates little, the probability of at least one clean sheet rises, and the model prints a no tip once that crosses 62%. The bar for no is higher than for yes because a single scrappy goal is enough to lose it.

Reading the probability next to a tip
Goals markets on this site are calibrated. A raw Poisson model is too confident about goals in both directions, so the published BTTS probabilities have been corrected with an adjustment fitted on one past season and tested on the next. The practical meaning is that a 65% tip is expected to land about two times in three, no more. If you hold that number next to the bookmaker's price, you can see whether the odds on offer are longer or shorter than the fair odds, and that comparison is worth more than the tip itself.

When the table is wrong before kick-off
The model works from results, and where odds are available from the bookmaker's view, but it cannot read a team sheet. The situations that most often turn a sound GG tip into a loser are these:
- A key striker rested or injured, announced an hour before kick-off.
- An early red card, which turns the match into attack against defence.
- A team that has already secured what it needs and plays the reserves.
- A waterlogged pitch in the local leagues during the rains, which cuts chances at both ends.
None of these are in the numbers. When you know about them, trust what you know over what the table says.
How we pick, and how we check
Every BTTS tip comes from the same Dixon–Coles adjusted Poisson model that produces the over 2.5 predictions and the correct score prediction tables, with the goals calibration applied on top. The full account, including the thresholds for each market and the blend with bookmaker odds where they exist, is on the methodology page. Every tip here is logged before kick-off and settled from the 90-minute score on the track record page, hits and misses alike.
Betting sensibly on goals
Any bet can lose, and a GG bet loses the moment one defence has a quiet night. Keep stakes small, do not add legs to recover a lost slip, and treat the probability as the whole of the promise. Kick-off times are shown in East Africa Time and converted to your local time in the browser. The site is for adults aged 18+ only; the responsible gambling page explains the deposit and time limits you can set at the bookmaker.

Frequently asked questions
What does BTTS or GG mean?
Both teams to score, written GG (goal goal) by many bookmakers in East and West Africa, wins when each side scores at least once in 90 minutes. The opposite, NG or no goal, wins when at least one team is kept out. The number of goals does not matter, only whether both sides got one.
Which is the best GG prediction site?
The honest answer is the one whose record you can check. Our BTTS tips are logged before kick-off and settled automatically from the final score, and the hit rate is printed on this page. Compare that record with any other site's before deciding who to trust.
Are your BTTS tips accurate?
They are calibrated, which is the useful version of accurate. A tip printed at 60% is meant to land about six times in ten over a long run. That is what the track record is there to test, and it is the only claim we make.
Can I combine GG with over 2.5 goals?
You can, and the two often go together, but they are not the same bet. A 2-0 wins over 2.5 and loses GG; a 1-1 wins GG and loses over 2.5. Check both tables before combining them, and remember the combined probability is lower than either on its own.
Why is there no BTTS tip for a big match today?
Because the probability for yes did not reach 58% and the probability for no did not reach 62%. Many matches sit between the two bars, and the model prints nothing rather than guess. Teams with fewer than eight matches in the data are also skipped.
