Privacy policy
TipsQuant editorial team · Updated
TipsQuant is a static website. There are no user accounts, no comments, no forms that store what you type, and no way to deposit or withdraw money here. This policy explains the small amount of data that is collected when you read the site, why it is collected, and how to limit it.
What we collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details anywhere on the site. The only data about your visit comes from two sources:
- Google Analytics. We use it to count visits and see which pages are read, which countries readers come from and which devices they use. It sets cookies in your browser and sends an anonymised record of each page view to Google. We have configured it not to collect full IP addresses.
- Server logs. The hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which include the IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser's identification string. These are used for security and to fix errors, and are deleted on the provider's normal schedule.
Cookies
The only cookies set by this site are the Google Analytics cookies, which exist to distinguish one visitor from another so that visits are not double-counted. They do not identify you by name and we do not combine them with any other data. You can block them with a browser extension, with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by refusing cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.
Affiliate links
Links to our recommended bookmaker go through a short redirect on this site. The redirect tells the bookmaker that you came from TipsQuant, which is how the site earns a commission if you open an account. Once you have left the site, the bookmaker's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there, and so do its account tools, which we describe on the responsible gambling page. We do not receive your account details, your stakes or your personal information from the bookmaker.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share visitor data with anyone. We do not run advertising networks that track you across other sites. We do not profile readers, and we do not send marketing messages, because we have no addresses to send them to.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to correct or delete on request. If you have a question about this policy or believe that we have collected something we should not have, write to the address on the about page and we will answer. Questions about how the tips are produced belong on the methodology page. The rules for using the site itself are on the terms of use page.
Changes
If the way the site collects data changes, this page will be updated and the change will be visible in the page's modified date. The current version is always the one published here.
